Company
A team that works where the test runs.
Energy Mark is built by test engineers, data scientists and software engineers who spend their time on lab floors, not just in notebooks. We are growing.
The team
Four disciplines on every engagement.
A prediction is only useful if the lab trusts it. That takes people who understand the test, the data, the software and the plant.
Test and compliance
Reads the standard and the test procedure. Decides what a valid test looks like and when to hold back.
Data science
Builds the models and the ranges, and proves them on units the model has never seen.
Software engineering
Builds the screens, the data pipelines and the audit trail, ready to hand over.
Client delivery
Scopes the work with plant and quality leaders, and stays with it through handover.
How we work
Four rules we do not bend.
Predict, never certify
The full regulatory test always runs. We never let a prediction stand in for it.
Show the working
Every read carries its range, its inputs and the rule version applied.
Hold back when unsure
Continue testing is a correct answer. A confident guess is not.
Hand it over
The client owns the code, the models and the rating rules. We write everything as if someone else will run it, because they will.
Open roles

Small teams, real labs, and work the client keeps. If one of these fits, apply below.
Energy Test and Compliance Engineer
Energy Test and Compliance Engineer
You turn a client's test procedure and standard into something Energy Mark can read and apply.
What you will do
- Map each lab's test procedure into quality gates, test states and the checks that decide when to hold back.
- Build and verify rating rules against the published standard and the lab's own certified results.
- Work alongside lab engineers during parallel runs, and explain every early read in their terms.
What we look for
- Hands-on experience in energy or performance testing of appliances or equipment: refrigeration, air conditioning, motors, transformers or similar.
- Working knowledge of at least one labelling programme, such as BEE, EU energy labelling, DOE or GEMS.
- Comfort reading raw data logger exports.
Data Scientist, Time Series
Data Scientist, Time Series
You build the models that predict a final energy result from the early part of a test, with ranges people can trust.
What you will do
- Build prediction models per product family, with calibrated prediction ranges.
- Design validation that holds out whole units, and report error, range coverage and false target matches.
- Run the statistics behind each lab assessment.
What we look for
- Strong time-series and regression skills, and experience with prediction intervals.
- Care about validation design and data leakage.
- Ability to explain uncertainty to engineers in plain language.
Full-Stack Engineer
Full-Stack Engineer
You build the screens lab engineers use every day, and the pipelines that feed them.
What you will do
- Build the test inbox, session detail, reports and audit trail.
- Build logger ingestion and data quality checks that fail clearly.
- Package each build so the client's own team can run and own it after handover.
What we look for
- Production experience with TypeScript and Python.
- Experience building data-heavy interfaces.
- Writing code that someone else will maintain.
Solutions Lead, Manufacturing
Solutions Lead, Manufacturing
You lead lab assessments with plant heads and quality teams, and stay with each engagement through handover.
What you will do
- Run lab assessments and scope fixed-price engagements.
- Keep claims honest: what Energy Mark predicts, and what it does not.
- Own the client relationship from first call to handover.
What we look for
- Experience selling or delivering into manufacturing or test operations.
- Credibility with engineers and plant leadership.
- Clear, plain writing.
